Overview
Dr. Yun Wang is an internationally experienced educator, university founder, and institutional leader with more than thirty years of experience in higher education, professional education, and cross-border academic development between China and the United States.
He is the Founding President of the University of San Jose (USJ) in Silicon Valley and Chairman of Gocean Silicon Valley Education Academy (Gosvea) and ALLCPR Emergency Training Group. His work focuses on building practice-oriented academic institutions, industry-aligned programs, and sustainable education platforms that respond to real workforce and societal needs.
Institutional Leadership
Dr. Wang founded Gocean Education Group in 1997 and expanded its operations to Silicon Valley in 2013, establishing a long-term framework for international education cooperation (Gosvea), professional training, and applied talent development.
In 2015, he founded the University of San Jose (USJ) as a graduate-focused institution committed to applied learning, technological relevance, and global engagement. Under his leadership, USJ offers industry-aligned master’s degree programs, including:

Community Safety & Public Engagement
Beyond higher education, Dr. Wang is actively involved in community resilience and public safety education. Since 2022, he has led the development of ALLCPR Emergency Training Group, delivering standardized CPR and emergency response training across North America.
ALLCPR specializes in CPR, BLS, and AED training as well as first aid product and service solutions for individuals, families, and corporate groups. Today, ALLCPR has grown into an internationally recognized brand in emergency training. It is an American Red Cross Primary Licensed Training Provider (PLTP) and an American Heart Association (AHA) Training Site and was honored with the 2024 American Red Cross Achievement Award for its outstanding achievements in community emergency training.
ALLCPR has established over 160 community emergency training centers across 35 U.S. states, supported by more than 200 full-time and part-time instructors. ALLCPR trains approximately 7,000 participants each month, with over 100,000 individuals trained to date.Through these initiatives, tens of thousands of community members have received accessible and practical emergency preparedness education, strengthening local response capacity and public safety awareness.
