
The University of San Jose (USJ, BPPE School Code: 90920164, ACCSC-I School Code: M074047) is proud to announce that its online master’s programs, including the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS), have officially received approval from the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) on March 6, 2025.
This approval marks another important milestone in USJ’s online education development, following its initial BPPE approval in December 2021 and the approval of its Application for Initial Accreditation – Part I by ACCSC in February 2025. With BPPE’s authorization, USJ is now able to offer MBA and MSCS degrees through on-campus, online, and hybrid learning formats, providing students with flexible study options.
Dr. Bin Li, Executive Vice President of USJ, stated, “We are thrilled to receive BPPE approval for our online programs, which will provide more learning opportunities for students worldwide. USJ is committed to cultivating globally competitive talent and supporting students in achieving their academic and career dreams.”
In addition, USJ announced the launch of the 2025 Global Scholarship Program, which includes:

USJ also introduced the USJ Personal AI Agent (UPAIA) career service, giving each student access to a digital assistant to enhance their productivity and professional growth.
