The University of San Jose is proud to announce that USJ was approved as an official Certifying Organization for the President’s Volunteer Service Award in April 28 2023, enabling the school to bestow Presidential recognition to USJ volunteers. This opportunity to recognize the great work and dedication of volunteers is a tremendous honor and delivers a powerful message that inspires others to take action.
“We are proud to serve as an official Certifying Organization for the President’s Volunteer Service Award for our university volunteers,” said Dr. Claude Wang, the president of USJ. “At USJ, we value community engagement and encourage our students, faculty, and staff to make a positive impact in the world.”
In addition to the Volunteer Service, the University of San Jose is now BPPE-certified by the California government to offer MSCS and MBA master’s degrees. Additionally, as a licensed American Red Cross training provider, USJ offers courses in First Aid/CPR/AED and BLS, granting participants Red Cross Certification Cards.
