2024 USJ Open Lecture: Silicon Valley Entrepreneurship and Investment Lecture will be held on March 3, 2024

The University of San Jose (USJ) is proud to present an exclusive “Silicon Valley Entrepreneurship and Investment” lecture by the renowned Larry Li, also known as “Master Li of Silicon Valley,” founding and managing partner of AMINO Capital. This event is set for March 3rd, 2024, at 10 AM at USJ.

Background

Situated in the vibrant city of San Jose, California, the University of San Jose (USJ) is a non-profit, research-focused private university. In 2021, USJ was authorized by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) to award Master’s degrees in MBA and MSCS. As an accredited training partner of the American Red Cross for CPR, an international lifeguard training organization for the AHA, and a certified evaluation organization for the U.S. Presidential Volunteer Service Award, USJ has established credit recognition agreements with WJU, LU, and PU. Embracing the motto “Serve in Freedom through Truth,” USJ is dedicated to creating a modern university with a distinct Silicon Valley identity (ITTTES).

Li, a visionary investor whose work significantly influences the future of innovation and investment, will discuss the global impact of the AI wave, analyze AI’s relationship with Venture Capital, and outline the connections between AI technology and entrepreneurship.

About the Lecturer

Larry Li, recognized in the 2023 Forbes Midas List as one of the Top 10 Early-Stage Venture Capitalists worldwide, established AMINO Capital in Silicon Valley in 2012. Under his guidance, AMINO Capital has initiated seven funds that focus on data-driven AI, fintech, healthcare, and the industrial internet, delivering significant returns. Li gained fame as “Silicon Valley Master Li” on TikTok during the pandemic peak, which led to the publication of his first investment book, “The Logic of Investment,” in Spring 2023.

With a Bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University and advanced education in big data finance in the U.S., Li’s career includes high-level roles at Wells Fargo (formerly Wachovia) and a significant presence in the internet and investment sectors since 2000.
