USJ Successfully Hosts ACCSC Development Conference and Launches 2025 Scholarship Program

The University of San Jose (USJ) successfully held the ACCSC Development Conference and the 2025 USJ Scholarship Announcement, marking the university’s first major conference since the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) approved the University of San Jose’s Application for Initial Accreditation – Part I (School Code #M074047).

The event featured a keynote address by USJ Founding President Dr. Claude Wang, an official announcement of the 2025 USJ Scholarship Program by USJ Vice President Kevin Cheng, and was hosted by Vice President Dr. Bin Li.

Distinguished guests in attendance included Dr. Tony Hu, Board Member of Patten University; Mr. Robin Bickel, Director of Business Development at Patten University; Mr. Peng Wang, President of Chengdu Jinhaiyang Education Group; and Dr. Charlie Chi, Director of USJ’s Accreditation Office. Each delivered remarks, celebrating USJ’s achievements and future aspirations.

USJ’s Vision for Global Education and Innovation

Dr. Wang shared insights into USJ’s founding journey and its future vision, emphasizing the university’s mission to cultivate ITTTES (Innovation, Technology, Talent Tolerance, Entrepreneurship, Self-organization) professionals with a unique Silicon Valley edge. USJ aims to build a global, cross-cultural campus that integrates AI and healthcare industries to foster industry-education collaboration.

Strengthening Collaboration and Accreditation Efforts

Mr. Robin Bickel expressed enthusiasm for deeper collaboration between Patten University and USJ.

Dr. Charlie Chi reflected on the steps taken to achieve that the ACCSC approved the University of San Jose’s Application for Initial Accreditation – Part I and encouraged the university to continue its accreditation journey.

Mr. Peng Wang, representing international partners, congratulated USJ on its progress and shared confidence in its global success.

Launch of the 2025 USJ Scholarship Program

A highlight of the conference was the official launch of the 2025 USJ Scholarship Program. Vice President Kevin Cheng announced a total fund of $300,000 to support outstanding students with full or partial scholarships based on academic merit, leadership, and social contribution.
